My debut album is out now!
The album seeks to convey the experience of a broken body, deteriorating slowly with no sense of control. I explore the feelings and experiences of when life becomes precarious, having to face stigma and discrimination, and observing life differently when you are no longer a part of it, due to chronic illness.
This album was made slowly, carefully, and against the odds — recorded one verse at a time from bed, on the good days, with everything I had. My brother helped bring it to life. It is the most honest thing I have ever made.

Hi! My name is Madelleine Muller and I’m a dream folk artist, songwriter, and abstract visual artist whose work is rooted in emotional honesty and the courage to sit with complexity. My music — built on acoustic instrumentation and deeply introspective lyrics — offers honest reckoning, emotional complexity, and the quiet resilience that can only follow real loss. My songs don’t reach for uplift so much as they sit with you in the dark, until the dark feels a little less lonely.
That same intuitive language extends into my visual practice. My abstract work is less composed than felt — emotionally driven and instinct-led, a parallel channel for the interior worlds my songs inhabit. Together, the two practices form a cohesive artistic vision: one that honors nuance and trusts the audience to meet me in the deep, but beautiful places.
