Salem

Salem is a song for all those out there who have been disbelieved, disrespected and mistreated for being sick. Salem is a metaphor for how women’s bodies have been neglected by medical science, how we, including men, suffering from diseases such as ME/CFS, Long Covid, fibromyalgia, EDS, POTS, MCAS etc. were dismissed for being hysterical when in reality our bodies had become ill, and how people have died without recognition of the true cause.
